Three months of my Ironman training are already over. Crazy how fast time is running — actually, it’s flying!
And so am I — on my way to a conference in Sorrento, Italy.
My progress so far? I can run a half marathon again. It wasn’t fast, but it was my best one in a long time. It felt good and gave me confidence that I’m back in the game.
Sure, I had almost four weeks off — moving, sickness… the usual “life” part of training. But that’s part of the journey too.
The best thing? I have a trainer now! I started using MyProCoach, and for the first time since I was a teenager, I have a real triathlon plan and someone guiding me.
What I already love about it: I don’t have to juggle my swim, bike, and run sessions myself anymore. The structure is clear. It feels great.
Next week: the 3-Country Marathon. I’m not sure what to expect — I missed a few long runs. But I’ll give it my best shot.
And today? A long evening run in Sorrento. Hopefully with a bit of sightseeing along the way.
