One Month In: From OfficeBart to IronBart

It’s been a month since I started this blog. Some posts have zero views the others three. But I didn’t start this to become a blogger. I’m doing this to become an Ironman.

The first month of my transformation — from office-bound Bart to something closer to IronBart. Right now, I’m somewhere in the RunBart phase. Fitter, focused, still no followers.

This blog is a tool — for structure, reflection, and accountability. I’ve never written a diary before. Sitting down every day to write forces me to pause and ask: What did I do today? What matters right now? That moment of awareness is worth something.

Writing helps. It feels like a conversation — maybe even with a future version of myself. When you’re 44 and training for Ironman, you are your own cheerleader. You won’t win. It won’t make you rich or famous. But I believe this journey will shape me — make me stronger. And that’s why I’m here.

Today: 20km on the plan. I squeezed all intervals into 16k – it was a good day.
